Introduction
At Device Repair Guy, we are committed to ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and property. This privacy policy outlines the practices around the use of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems that record both video and audio within our premises.

The CCTV system is implemented for the purposes of:
- Enhancing the safety and security of our customers, employees, and property.
- Deterring and preventing the occurrence of crime.
- Assisting in the identification and prosecution of offenders.
- Resolving customer complaints and disputes.

Scope of CCTV Monitoring
CCTV cameras are positioned in strategic locations within and around our premises, including sales floors, entry and exit points, and storage areas. These cameras may capture images and sounds of individuals during their visit to our shop.
Data Collection and Use
The CCTV system captures and records video and audio footage. This footage may be used as evidence in the investigation of criminal activities, safety incidents, or customer complaints. Access to the CCTV footage is restricted to authorized personnel only, such as security staff and management.
Data Retention
CCTV footage is stored securely for a limited period of two weeks after its capture. After this period, the footage is automatically deleted, unless retained for the investigation of an incident or required by law enforcement authorities.
Data Protection
We are committed to protecting the privacy and rights of individuals captured on CCTV footage. Access to CCTV footage is strictly controlled. Only authorized personnel with a legitimate reason will have access to the footage.
Disclosure to Third Parties
CCTV footage will only be disclosed to third parties (such as law enforcement agencies) in the following circumstances:
- When required by law.
